Spring Whites

Following the previous post on White Outfits, the Zara jumpsuit reinforces my love for Spring & Summer whites. Having too much white can be discouraging for some, but personally, I feel it can add alluring, fresh & crisp vibe to any occasion be it brunch, office appropriate, a drinks night, or even a nice dinner out. Here are a few of my current obsessions for a day time, night time, casual weekends, night out or even office look.
White Spring

White Out

I have always admired the crisp all-white ensemble. There is just a simple, classy & sophisticated air about it- though it can turn out straitjacket like when not worn with the right accessories. I recently purchased this jumpsuit from Zara & absolutely love the low-back cut & breathe easy material. Because of the neutral colour, it’s like working with a blank canvas- I can match it with a variety of colourful accessories, bags & shoes. With beautiful balmy nights like that of yesterday, I cannot wait to wear this out more often- though being a messy eater, I’d have to watch what I eat!IMG_5654_副本IMG_5657_副本[Zara jumpsuit similar here, Alexander Wang Rockie Bag similar, Portsmans nude wedges, Marc Jacobs similar chain, Emporio Armani watches, Chanel brooches]

All Striped Out

SONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCI have always loved stripes although if you check my closet, you wouldn’t have guessed it. So, I was quite happy to find this top on sale from Portmans & was able to wear it this Saturday past. The boxy non-constricting style, as well as the nautical colours gave it a vibe synonymous to the beach & resort- it was perfect for the rare hot weather like yesterday. I paired it with my white Saboskirt shorts, Varinas & also this chunky necklace I bought yonks ago from Mossman. Have a great weekend guys!

Oldie but a Goodie

As the days have started to hit below 10 Degs in the mornings & a mere 15 Degs in the afternoon, Summer is slowly becoming a thought of the ‘future’ again. To make this cold dreary weather slightly more bearable, I’m oogling at the delightful variety of faux fur jackets available online. I have blogged about fur coats here before & now that it’s freezing in Melbourne, it’s only befitting that I blog about it again. In the meantime, I’ve been pulling out my old winter staples stuck at the back of my closet- one oldie but a goodie is the fox fur jacket I got at a vintage store on Chapel St, which sadly is no longer there, but if you visit the Sunday Camberwell Market, you are bound to find one. I can always rely on this jacket for warmth, style with minimal effort with a touch of lux. As you can see, I’ve been lazy & just wore an old T-shirt paired with faux leather pants from Sportsgirl to complete the look. This jacket will never grow old & I can imagine myself handing this down to my kids one day. 🙂

What is your ‘Oldie but a Goodie’?

Tell Me Yes

But no, I couldn’t afford this Alexander Wang piece. But I did find this similar piece from ZARA for less than a $80AUD. Not only that, the graffiti style print on it is such a great ice-breaker for conversations if you must 🙂 I’m also wearing boyfriend jeans found from the flea market for $10! Now that it is Autumn & with the weather becoming increasingly unpredictable (ie, rainy, windy, chilly) this baggy outfit have become my go to pieces for the weekend – minimal effort, maximum comfort.

How’s my kid sisters photography skills? Not bad right?
