Day: Singapore 28 July – 1 Aug 2011

Yoohooo sorry for the late post…

So here is the part 2 of our girls trip…didn’t get to take as much photos as I like because some places are real arse about photos :/ ah well.

One thing that constantly amazes me about Singapore is that, in a country so small-( if you don’t have good eye sight, you won’t be able to see it on the map)…they have way bigger malls that us here, as well as an elite, advanced & fast transport system!  On the contrary, I feel so tiny when I stand on Orchard Rd, what with all the designer skylines & malls towering over us…

So clean & so disciplined, no graffiti, no rubbish. Must give way to train exit-ers first like the guy in the pic hehehe who patiently waits behind the yellow line.

FYI, no drinking or eating at train stations or you face a hefty fine.

Lost in Translation ❤

Frigging awesome foodcourt at ION- pretty too!!

Bugis Market

Marche at Vivo City

P.S: We stayed at “V- Hotel in Lavender” which is a real good location. We booked through AGODA & got discount for a premier room with a Queen bed, high floor & a beautiful view. All up, we each paid $300SG for 4 nights. The room & bathroom was very small however the fact that it was right above a MRT train station was awesome. Plus, downstairs of the hotel, there is a 12 hr ‘Kopitiam’ (mini foodcourt) open & all these other food stalls like ‘Old Chang-Kee’ etc… The rooms are clean & there is a nice pool with a little ‘onion’ sofa/cove with cushions for chilling after a BIG night out.

Check it out!!
